Lele Music Productions (LMP) was founded in 2003. It was our goal to start a record label and release Hawaiian Contemporary music.... the kind of music that will soothe you, relax you, and to appreciate the artistry of our artist to the fullest.

As a record label, LMP provides the artist freedom and space to be what they truly are ...artist. It is LMP’s intent to provide Hawai‘i music lovers with great quality recordings from tremendously artistic talents. It is guaranteed that when you listen to any of LMP’s recordings, you will feel the “Aloha” and no matter where you are in the world, Hawai‘i will always be close.

In 2004 & 2007, LMP released  two of Herb Ohta, Jr.’s solo recordings, “‘Ukulele Breeze” & ‘Ukulele Journey”. In 2009, LMP released a new recording from Jennifer Perri, "He Mele Aloha" and was nominated for Contemporary Hawaiian Album of the Year.

2010 will be even more exciting! LMP will be releasing 2 new projects in the summer. Herb Ohta, Jr. and Jon Yamasato team up for the first time on a CD, and Herb's 7th solo CD for the U.S. (9th overall solo).
